Hey!
This week was good for the most part. One girl came up to me and started "speaking English." She tried to tell me that she was from the states and that she was just living here for a few years. She would try to say things in English and when I would try to answer her or ask what she just said, she told me she didn``t remember English very well because all she speaks down here is Spanish. Haha it made me laugh because there`s no way you would forget your native language. It just won't happen. Plus she was slurring her words and she really didn`t make any sense at all. It was a very interesting experience. And my companion thought it was hilarious.
This Saturday, we have 8 people that we scheduled to get baptized but only 2 of them are more for sure. Hernan and Fernanda. Hernan is excited about getting baptized but we met with Fernanda yesterday and she wasn`t so sure about her baptism. So we will be working really hard with her this week. She has some major problems with her sister, whose a member and I think she struggles with that. So tonight we`re going over to her house and we`re going to see if we can talk with her alone. She seems to tell us more when no one else is around. The others are the Rindaldo family, Edelma, Fabricio the dad, Fabricio the son and Giancarlo. We set the date a few weeks ago but I strongly doubt they will get baptized this weekend. We`re going to talk to them and see what they have to say. We`ll probably move the date to Oct 8 or the 15. Then we have Gabriela and Javier who are siblings. They have problems with coffee and tea and they haven`t come to church yet so that`s a problem. So we`ll probably move their date as well. And other than that we don't have a lot of other people. We don`t have any new investigators so this next week we're going to find some more. Oh and Felix. We set a date with him for the 8 of Oct. He really does want to change but I know he doesn`t know how. I am trying to not bit my nails and not eat as much to get a feel for how hard it is to break a habit. (I am gaining weight and I don`t like it and haha I exercise in our house but running in place. I don`t recommend it. I am getting very very tired of it). I know my habit isn't quite the same but I still want to know a little of how hard it is. And man it`s hard. But my nails are looking a little better and my companion is helping me. She gets mad at me everytime I have my hands near my mouth.
On Friday, we had an FHE with the President and his wife with families investigating the church. We had 2 families there. Isis and Carlos. He`s a member but she`s not and she`s pregnant. Actually due in the next week. Then the Rindaldo family came. I think she was pretty stressed out and annoyed that she was there because her 2 year old was fussing and tried. But during the lesson, he went up to the daughter of the President and feel asleep on her lap. It was really good and the mom could focus and listen. I think the mom is the one that is having the hardest time with accepting the gospel. The dad seems to accept more of it but the mom has a lot of questions and is hard. So I think when she knows it`s true the family will follow. At least I am hoping.
Today, we got to go to the temple grounds!!! It was pretty nice to be at a temple again. I sure do miss being able to go. I hope I never take the house of God for granted. It`s pretty but not in our mission :( I am pretty sad about that. I`ll send some pictures next week. The Elder who has the same cord as me already left so I have nothing to hook my camera up to. But it is pretty.
Also, I don`t know what I need Brother Orme to buy. I will create a list :) Haha I never know what I have and what I don`t have. But I will think of things because I should use this opportunity.

I am glad to know everyone is doing good. I couldn`t see the pictures you sent because I have to be logged in on Facebook to see them and since I`m not allowed, that causes a bit of a problem. But thanks for the thought. And I am glad to hear that you are doing better. I know how much you hate being sick.
Also, I have almost survived my first change. Haha Wednesday we have changes. One change down and I don`t know how many more I have.
I miss and love you all. You are always in my prayers!!! And thanks for the prayers. I know they help. I don`t know how but I have to believe they do. Tell everyone hi!
